"How to Introduce A New Toy"

Introduce new toys gradually.
Put the new toy near the cage, until you see your
bird showing interest in it.
Place it in the cage when you know your bird is
comfortable with it.
Watch your bird play with the toy to be sure it
plays with it safely.
Look for anything unsafe that might develop (such
as a loose part, or a perhaps a stray nylon
thread).
Rotate toys to keep your bird interested in them.
When you remove a toy, do a safety check and
clean it.
